Benedictine hospital

Staff has terrible attitude.. they act like doing they're Job which they get paid for is doing you a favor .would give less than 1 star if I could .Government waste of money

I am struggling to understand how the hospital works and how the staff work there, but i find it highly unethical and very unprofessional. My mother missed her Chemo therapy which was scheduled today 12/03/2025 at Mpangeni due to the paramedics who came at 9h00 to fetch her, do they not know that Chemo therapy sessions have scheduled time or what or one has to have connections inorder to be given the best medical care. Lastly but not least Benedictine Hospital always complains about running short of medication, how do you expect us to depend on the hospital while they have no care whatsoever because one comes from a poor beground? And this act will have a negative impact on my mothers health. As it is now the paramedics who went there with her left her there and went their ways while she is sitting the at Mpangeni in Severe pain waiting for paramedic who went to Gods knows where???? Something has to be done with the services they give eBenedictine ngeke. This is also a matter of life and death my mother was sent back today she couldnt go through for Chemo therapy because neglegency and unprofessional People. If something happens to my mother serious action will be taken

Great service from staff, no complains at all. There's high level of respect from fellow employees of the hospital and they know how to treat the public with dignity that they deserve ♥️

Benedictine hospital is the worst hospital ever in terms of poor service, it might be overloaded by patients i understand but its not the only one with the same problem in Kzn. My mother was referred by the gp to see the doctor at Benedictine Hosp. she was there on monday 22/07/13 7am she saw the dr at midnight who odered x-rays which were done on tuesday she left the hospital at 3pm on tuesday 23/07/2013 following just a consultation of a doctor. I understand the situation they are working under meaning drs and nurses but i feel the management is failing, there is no order there at all.Wish the MEC can make a random visit there, may be a solution can come out. Im concerned!!!
